Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use VidSense (“VidSense”, “we”, “us”), the service at vidsenseai.com and app.vidsenseai.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use VidSense. Questions: support@vidsenseai.com.

The service

VidSense turns videos into transcripts, summaries, visual notes, clips and content ideas, and helps you plan and produce your own content. Features change over time; we may add, change or remove features.

Your account

You need an account to use the app. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter into these terms where you live.

Your content and your responsibilities

You keep all rights in the videos you process and in the work you create. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service to you.
Only process videos you own or have the right to use, and follow the terms of the platforms they come from.
You are responsible for what you publish. VidSense helps you study what works and write your own original versions; it must not be used to copy, re-upload or pass off other people’s work as your own.
Do not use VidSense to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, harass anyone, or to attack, overload or get around the limits of the service.

AI output

Transcripts, summaries, answers, scores, ideas, scripts, pictures, voices and videos are produced by AI and can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Review them before you rely on them or publish them. Scores and predictions are estimates, not promises of results. Nothing in VidSense is legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

Other services

VidSense works with services run by others, such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Apify, Anthropic, Stripe and Vimeo. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them, their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for changes they make that affect VidSense. If you connect your own keys or accounts, charges from those providers are yours.

Plans, credits and payments

Creating an account and transcribing on your device are free. AI features use credits, or your own AI key if you connect one.
Monthly credits that come with a plan reset each calendar month and do not carry over. Credits you buy as a pack do not expire.
Credits earned with quests (small tasks in the app, such as opening it on a new day) are used before your other credits and expire if unused 14 days after you last earned quest credits. We may change or end quests and their rewards at any time.
Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from “Manage subscription” in the app; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe. Except where the law gives you a right to a refund, payments are non-refundable; if something went wrong, email us and we will put it right.
Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using VidSense at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or is used fraudulently.

No warranty

VidSense is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, VidSense is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Our content

The VidSense name, logo, mascot, design and software belong to VidSense. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Using VidSense after a change means you accept the new terms.
